Please note that it’s harder to recover accounts that Instagram has disabled due to repeated violations of terms and conditions or copyrights.

In addition to filling out the forms, I suggest to also email Instagram and explain the issue. Explain that your account was hacked.

You will need to install a VPN and change your location to the US to access the form.

REMEMBER: Fill it out many times, and be patient.. Instagram will recover your account, but you will NOT receive an email.

After the second day of filling out the form multiple times, just try to recover your account by going on Get Help Signing in.

2. Input Original Email or phone number

3. Insert link to your Instagram Page: www.instagram.com/username (even if the username was changed). Example: www.instagram.com/shopallwild

4. On the question of : “Have you tried following the steps listed in the Help Center to get help through the Instagram app?” Select Yes.

5. Fill out the rest 6. On Additional Comments: Describe in detail what happened. you case might be different from mine but below is an example you can copy.

Here is the sample text I used in the Additional Comments Section: “Hi Instagram staff, I hope you’re well. I couldn’t recover my account using the phone number, email or username in the “Get Help Signing in” since all this information had been changed by the hackers. I still have access to the original email :xxxxxxxxxxx@gmail.com. (or they also hacked the email, but I have access to the phone number associated) I’m willing to follow the steps necessary to recover my account. Please help. “
